Vineyard
The grapes were grown on a single Wairau Valley vineyard in the highly regarded Raupara area which was at the forefront of the original grape plantings of Sauvignon Blanc in Marlborough.
Viticulture
The growing season was characterised by a warm, dry summer which continued into autumn and helped maintain the flavour and intensity of the fruit.
The wine
It has lovely, vibrant cut grass notes with capsicum, gooseberry and citrus overtones. There are also some pungent herbaceous nuances. A full flavoured, medium bodied wine with a clean lingering finish.
Packaging
Because we refuse to comprise on quality this wine is sealed with a screw cap.
