The vines on this Gisborne vineyard were low cropped to give the best quality grapes.
Viticulture
The vines were hand tended to give an open canopy for extra sunlight to produce more flavour.
Tasting notes
The grapes were whole bunch pressed, creating an elegant wine with strong, fruit flavour. The juice was 100% barrel fermented in predominantly French new oak which will help the wine improve over the next 5-7 years.
Packaging
Because we refuse to comprise on quality this wine is sealed with a screw cap.
